What to Expect on Stardust Racers
Stardust Racers is the headliner of Epic Universe and the only high-thrill coaster in Celestial Park. Two trains, gold and silver, launch at the same moment and race along intertwining tracks, so the ride changes depending on which side runs faster on your lap. It tops out around 62 miles per hour and climbs to about 133 feet.
The signature moment is the Celestial Spin, a crossover where the two trains appear to brush past each other. There are no inversions, just fast launches, airtime hills, and the racing element, which keeps it thrilling without being extreme. Riders must be at least 48 inches tall, and a single rider line helps when the standby wait climbs.
Should You Rope Drop Stardust Racers?
Stardust Racers is best at Early Entry or in the last hour before close. During the day the single rider line is usually the fastest way on, since it opens and closes with capacity.
