What to Expect on Battle at the Ministry
Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry sets you down in a 1920s wizarding world from the Fantastic Beasts era and moves you through a vast Ministry of Magic atrium on a system of omnidirectional lifts. Those lifts glide, rise, and rotate to face huge sets, screens, and animatronics, building to a courtroom battle as the action breaks loose around you.
It is an advanced dark ride rather than a thrill ride. There are no steep drops or inversions, and the 40 inch requirement is about the motion system rather than intensity, though some scenes are loud and chaotic. The land around it is so detailed that the queue and the streets are half the reason to come, so leave time to wander.
Should You Rope Drop Battle at the Ministry?
Battle at the Ministry posts its worst waits in the morning and its best in the final two or three hours before close. Spend the morning elsewhere, walk the land midday for the theming, and ride it at night.
