How do you get into Animal Kingdom?
Main entrance
Animal Kingdom has one gate, at the south end of the park beside Rainforest Cafe. The buses and the parking trams drop you just outside it, and the Oasis gardens lead you in toward the Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life
Every land branches off Discovery Island, the ring of paths around the Tree of Life. It is the place to regroup and pick a direction. The rope drop plan shows which way to turn first.

How is Animal Kingdom laid out?
Discovery Island and the Tree of Life sit in the middle, and the lands ring it. Pandora is to the southwest, Africa to the northwest with the safari, and Asia to the east with Everest.
