Enter the Arcade 6 games in the cabinet, more on the way

Here is the honest reason this exists. Planning a Disney day is mostly waiting. Waiting for the calendar to flip, for the flight, for the gates, for the ride at the front of the line. We already build tools for the big waits. The Arcade is for the small ones.

So we gave the games their own room. Six of them so far, all free, none of them asking you to download a thing or sign up for anybody's list. A few refresh every morning, so there is a fresh reason to come back tomorrow. One of them is just a steamboat and a river with no point beyond a good score. Here is what is in the cabinet right now.

The Rope Drop board mid game, with CRANE and MOUSE guessed and a green, gold and gray tile pattern

Daily · Word game

The Rope Drop

Five letters, six guesses, a brand new word every morning. You already know how to play this one. The twist is that the answers live in the parks, so the day the word turns out to be QUEUE you are going to feel a little seen. Green means the letter is home, gold means it is in there somewhere. Build a streak and then go ruin it for your friends.

Lightning Round showing Gran Fiesta Tour at ten minutes against Test Track, with a streak of two

Daily · Higher or lower

Lightning Round

Two rides go head to head. Does the second one usually wait longer or shorter than the first? Call it and the streak climbs, miss it and the run is done. It runs on our own wait numbers, which is how you end up ten rounds deep, squinting at your phone, certain there is no way Peter Pan waits that long. It does.

Park Connections with the Animal Kingdom group solved and three more tiles selected

Daily · Grouping

Park Connections

Sixteen attractions hide four groups of four. A park, a land, a decade, a ride type, something ties each set together. It looks gentle until you notice a ride that could sit in two groups at once, because one of them is bait. Four wrong guesses ends it. The purple group is hard on purpose, and we are not sorry.

Find the Stroller showing your reference stroller above a lot full of look-alikes

Daily · Spot it

Find the Stroller

You left it by the carousel, wandered off for a snack, and now a couple hundred strollers all look exactly like yours. Lock in the canopy color, the balloon, the little bear riding shotgun, then find the match before the parade lets out. Three lots, each more packed than the last, and in the final one a cast member tidies the rows while you are still looking. If you are a parent, your pulse just went up a notch.

The Which Disney Ride Are You quiz on question two of eight

Quiz · Personality

Which Disney Ride Are You

Eight quick questions and we hand you the Walt Disney World ride that is secretly your whole personality. It is the goofy pre trip quiz your group chat is missing, except the card you get back carries the ride's real typical wait and the best hour to ride it. Useful right up until everyone screenshots theirs and starts arguing about who got Tower of Terror.

Steamboat Scramble mid run, a little 1928 steamboat steaming down a three lane river

Arcade · Just for fun

Steamboat Scramble

This one is pure play. Pilot a little 1928 steamboat down a three lane river, dodge whatever floats your way, and stack up nautical miles until you finally run aground. No daily reset, no streak to babysit, just the whistle, the wake, and a high score worth chasing. Fair warning, it is the cabinet I lose the most afternoons to.

What should we build next?

The cabinet is not full. There is room for a few more machines, and honestly the best ideas for what goes in them do not come from us. Maybe it is a daily ride ordering puzzle. Maybe trivia that finally stumps the superfans. Maybe something nobody has tried yet. If a game would make your next wait in line vanish, tell us about it. We read every note that comes in, and the good ones get built.
