Scan into a park, then make your first booking
Disneyland does not take Lightning Lane bookings days ahead. Your first booking opens once your ticket scans at the gate of Disneyland or California Adventure, and you take the next return time the app offers.

Since October 6, 2026, Multi Pass costs $35 per person per day when you buy it before your visit, up from $34. Bought on the day it starts at $38, up from $37, and the day-of price changes by date. Single Pass rides are extra, Star Wars Rise of the Resistance ($30 on Oct 27) and Radiator Springs Racers ($19 on Oct 27).
How does Lightning Lane work at Disneyland?
You book one Lightning Lane at a time after your ticket scans into a park. When you tap into that Lightning Lane, or 120 minutes after you booked it, you can book the next one. There are no tiers, and you can ride each Multi Pass attraction once per day.
Can you book Disneyland Lightning Lane in advance?
You can buy Multi Pass in advance, but you cannot book return times in advance. The first booking opens only once you have entered a park on the day of your visit.
What is the 120 minute rule at Disneyland?
After you make a Lightning Lane booking, your next booking opens 120 minutes later even if you have not used the first one yet. If you tap into your booking sooner, the next booking opens right away.
Which rides are on Disneyland Lightning Lane Multi Pass?
22 rides, 13 at Disneyland park and 9 at California Adventure. Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers are not included and sell as Single Pass. Pirates of the Caribbean left Lightning Lane in July 2025 and is standby only.
Does Disneyland Multi Pass work in both parks?
Only with a Park Hopper ticket. With a one park ticket, Multi Pass works only in the park you visit that day. The price is the same either way.

Guests at the three Disneyland Resort hotels get one Lightning Lane Multi Pass ride per person per stay, on one eligible ride at either park. It is not a full Multi Pass and does not cover Single Pass rides.

On a busy weekend or holiday, usually yes, since the headliner lines at both parks run long and the 120 minute rule keeps bookings coming. On a quiet weekday, a strong rope drop and single rider lines can cover most of the big rides for free.
