What you get with a party ticket

The party is a separately ticketed, after-hours night with lower capacity than a regular park day, so the decorated park feels calmer and the headliners run shorter lines. A ticket includes early entry before the party officially starts, plus everything below.

  • Trick or treating at candy stations all around the park
  • The Boo To You Halloween Parade down Main Street
  • The Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks over Cinderella Castle
  • The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular on the castle stage
  • Stitch's Masquerade, the new for 2026 dance party in Tomorrowland
  • Holiday ride overlays you only get during the party
  • Rare and costumed character meet and greets

Children's tickets typically run a little less than adult tickets. Prices on this page are per adult before tax. Florida sales tax is added at checkout, so the lowest night works out to roughly $137 all in.

The shows and entertainment

Four headline shows run only during the party, and they are the reason most people buy a ticket. Plan your night around the ones you care about most, since the parade and fireworks draw the biggest crowds.

Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade

The Headless Horseman leads the way down Main Street, followed by the Disney villains, the gravediggers, and the rest of the spooky cast. It runs twice most nights, and the second showing is usually less crowded.

Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular

A party exclusive fireworks show hosted by Jack Skellington, with projection mapping across Cinderella Castle. It is one of the best fireworks Magic Kingdom puts on all year.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters take the castle stage and are joined by a lineup of Disney villains, including Hades, Cruella De Vil, Jafar, Dr. Facilier, and the Evil Queen.

Stitch's Masquerade

New for 2026, Stitch hosts an ever changing dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, joined by Lilo and Angel.

Characters you can meet

The party is the best night of the year for rare and costumed characters, with short, party exclusive meet and greets you cannot get on a normal park day. The full 2026 lineup is announced closer to the season, but here is who shows up year after year.

  • Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • Mickey and Minnie in their party only Halloween costumes
  • The Seven Dwarfs, a party exclusive meet that draws long lines
  • Disney villains like the Sanderson Sisters in the Hocus Pocus show
  • Winnie the Pooh dressed as a bumblebee
  • Royal couples like Ariel and Eric and Aladdin and Jasmine
  • Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto in costume at Storybook Circus

Lines for the rarest characters, especially the Seven Dwarfs and Jack and Sally, build fast. If a specific meet is your priority, head there at the start of the party rather than waiting for later.

How and when to buy

Pick your night first

Use the picker above. If your dates are flexible, sort by cheapest or by lower crowds. If your dates are fixed, check how fast that night is likely to book up.

Buy now, tickets are on sale

Tickets went on sale to resort guests on May 5 and to everyone on May 12, so the full calendar is available now through the official Walt Disney World site.

Use the passholder and DVC discount

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $10 per ticket on nights through October 2. Those are the same early nights that already offer the best price.

Arrive for early entry

Your party ticket lets you into Magic Kingdom at 4 in the afternoon, before the 7 o'clock start, so you can ride and find a parade or fireworks spot before the crowd settles in.

Is it worth it

If the parade, the fireworks, trick or treating, and rare characters in a decorated park with shorter ride lines sound like your kind of night, it is an easy yes. The lower capacity is the whole point, you trade a regular evening for a calmer, more festive one. For the best mix of price and quiet, aim for a lower crowd weeknight in August or early September.

And if your group wants the opposite of not so scary, the other side of town runs Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal on many of the same nights, an adults-first haunt with real scares. Our guide covers its houses, scare zones, and the cheapest nights to go.

Common questions

When is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2026

The party runs on 38 select nights, August 7 through October 31, 2026. Each night runs from 7 in the evening to midnight, and your party ticket lets you into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 in the afternoon.

How much are 2026 party tickets

The season ranges from $119 to $229 per adult before tax, depending on the night. Both $119 nights have sold out, so the cheapest night still available is $129. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members save $10 on nights through October 2.

Which party night is cheapest

The season opened with two $119 nights in early August, and both have sold out. The cheapest night still available is Aug 18 at $129 before tax. The remaining August dates are the best value on the calendar, which is also why they book up quickly.

Which nights have sold out

Three nights are gone so far. Halloween night sold out within hours back in May, and the two cheapest August dates, August 11 and August 14, sold out by early July. The rest of the October weekends and the remaining cheap August dates are the likeliest to go next, so if your dates are fixed, book as soon as you can.

What characters can you meet at the party

The party is the best night of the year for rare and costumed characters. Expect Jack Skellington and Sally, Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes, the Seven Dwarfs, villains like the Sanderson Sisters, and royal couples, with the full lineup announced closer to the season.

What is included with a party ticket

Early entry before the party starts, the Boo To You Halloween Parade, the Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks, the new Stitch's Masquerade dance party, the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, trick or treating around the park, holiday ride overlays, and rare character meet and greets, all on a night with lower capacity than a regular park day.

Is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party worth it

If you want the parade, the fireworks, trick or treating, and rare characters with shorter ride lines in a decorated park, it is worth it. Pick a lower crowd weeknight in August or early September for the calmest night and the best price.

When did 2026 party tickets go on sale

Tickets went on sale to Disney Resort hotel guests on May 5 and to the general public on May 12. They are on sale now through the official Walt Disney World site, and three nights have already sold out, Halloween night plus August 11 and August 14.
