The party is a separately ticketed, after-hours night with lower capacity than a regular park day, so the decorated park feels calmer and the headliners run shorter lines. The party runs 7 PM to midnight, and your ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom as early as 4 PM, three hours before the party officially starts, plus everything below.

The lower capacity is the whole point, you trade a regular evening for a calmer, more festive one. For the best mix of price and quiet, aim for a lower crowd weeknight earlier in the run.
