Transport and resort amenities06 / Good to know
A few useful
answers.
01When does Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge open?
Disney has announced July 1, 2027. The resort is still under construction. Check the official resort page before making travel commitments.
02Does October 6 open ordinary DVC points bookings?
Disney describes October 6, 2026 as early rental reservations through Member Services. A separate Member First Wave Experience has its own Disney Collection Exchange chart using Reservation Points. That event chart does not establish a standard nightly Vacation Points booking window.
03Can guests of other hotels use the lazy river?
The resort announcements do not establish pool-hopping, day-pass or outside-guest access at Lakeshore Lodge. Confirm access with Disney before planning a visit.
04Can you get to Magic Kingdom by boat?
Disney lists complimentary water-taxi service between Lakeshore Lodge and Magic Kingdom during your stay. It also lists Disney buses to Walt Disney World theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs. Specific schedules, direct routes and travel times are not established here.
05Does every room include Club Level access?
No. Disney lists The Artist’s Nest lounge access for select resort rooms and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite. Confirm the entitlement on your room reservation.
06Does the header photograph show Lakeshore Lodge?
No. It is a licensed Walt Disney World waterfront photograph taken in 2015 by Chad Sparkes. It does not depict Lakeshore Lodge. Disney’s linked first-look gallery includes concept imagery for the new resort.
