Before you go

Three things parents should know

Get measured once at the front

Stop at the measuring station on Showstreet near the front gate. The wristband color tells every ride host your child's height, which saves a measuring stop at each ride entrance. Ride staff still make the final call.

Country Fair kids rides changed for 2026

Busy Bees, Lucky Ducky and Piggy Parade now need 36 inches, and a parent riding along no longer gets a shorter child on.

Under 36 inches still has plenty

Ride the train, the carousel, Rockin' Roadway, Frogs and Fireflies and The Amazing Flying Elephants, then play at Granny's Garden, Hidden Hollow, Lil' Pilots Playground and the splash areas at Wildwood Creek and Firehouse Fun Yard.

Heights match Dollywood's posted ride requirements for the 2026 season. Splash Country is a separate water park with its own rules and is not part of this list.
