Season dates for this chart
Pick two or more resorts and a room category to see the same stay side by side, season by season. The lowest cost resort in each season is marked.
The unique view. We price every calendar date in both 2026 and 2027, then show exactly what moved, because the season boundaries shift year to year and a name to name comparison would miss it.
How many points is your trip. Set a resort, room, view, and dates, and we total the nights, counting weekday and weekend nights and any season changes inside your stay.
How to read the points
A DVC stay is paid in points, and the number of points a night costs depends on four things, the resort, the room, the view, and the date. The charts above show the nightly points for every combination, with a separate value for weeknights, Sunday through Thursday, and weekend nights, Friday and Saturday, which always cost more. The shade of each cell tracks the cost, lighter for the cheapest weeks and deeper for the peak ones, and the number is always there too, so the color is a hint and never the only signal.
What moved for 2027
Most resorts carry their 2026 chart into 2027 almost unchanged, with the season dates nudging a few days so the weeks around Easter and Thanksgiving keep their usual cost. The real moves came at two resorts. Animal Kingdom Villas at Jambo House raised the Value and Club Level rooms and trimmed the plentiful Savanna View, and the Polynesian rose across the board. A reallocation keeps each resort's yearly total the same, so when some nights go up, others come down. The what-changed view above marks every cell that rose, fell, or held, with the exact point difference and a direction arrow.
Owning the decision, not just the nightly cost
Points tell you what a stay costs in a year. Whether buying in is worth it is a different question, and we built a separate tool for it. Run your own break-even on the Is DVC worth it calculator, then come back here to price the actual trips your contract would pay for.
Common questions
What changed in the 2027 DVC point charts
For most resorts the 2027 charts hold close to 2026, with the season date bands shifting a few days around Easter and Thanksgiving so the same calendar weeks keep their usual cost. Two resorts saw real point moves. Animal Kingdom Villas at Jambo House raised Value and Club Level rooms while trimming the plentiful Savanna View, and the Polynesian rose across the board. Toggle any resort to 2027 above, or open the what-changed view, to see every cell that moved with the exact point difference.
How many DVC points do I need for my stay
It depends on the resort, the room, the view, and your exact dates, because every night is priced on its own and Friday and Saturday nights cost more than weeknights. Use the trip calculator above. Pick a resort, room, and view, set your check-in and check-out, and it totals the points night by night across any season changes in your stay, then shows the per-night breakdown.
Which resort costs the fewest points for my dates
Run your dates through the calculator and switch on compare-everywhere. It totals the same room category and your exact nights at every resort and ranks them by points, so you can see where the same trip is cheapest. As a rule the lowest nightly points on property are the Riviera Tower Studio and the Saratoga Springs and Old Key West standard rooms, but for your specific dates the calculator is the real answer.
Do weekends cost more DVC points than weekdays
Yes. Every DVC resort prices Friday and Saturday nights higher than Sunday through Thursday, so a stay built around weeknights stretches your points further. The explorer shows the weekday and weekend value for every room and season side by side, and the calculator counts each kind of night correctly across your dates.
Are these the official 2027 point charts
The charts here mirror the point requirements Disney Vacation Club publishes for each resort, organized so you can sort, compare, and total a trip instead of squinting at a static image. Points are nightly and shown for both weekday and weekend nights. This tool is unofficial and is not affiliated with Disney Vacation Club or the Walt Disney Company.
Can I see the 2026 chart too
Yes. Every resort has a year toggle for 2026 and 2027, so you can read either chart on its own, and the what-changed view lays the two years side by side by calendar date. That date-by-date approach matters because the season boundaries shift year to year, so comparing season name to season name would miss real moves.
