Construction ledger

What is changing at the curb.

The east side of the resort is under construction for a new garage and pedestrian bridge. Signs on the day beat any map.

  1. The ART shuttle ended

The Anaheim Resort Transportation buses stopped on March 31. Hotel run shuttles, OC Bus, walking and ride share fill the gap.

  2. Toy Story shuttle drop off moving north

The shuttle stop stays on the east end of the Esplanade but shifts closer to Harbor Blvd while a pedestrian bridge is built.

  3. Soon

Hotel shuttles moving to Downtown Disney

Good Neighbor hotel shuttles are moving to a new shuttle area on Downtown Drive near the Disneyland Hotel valet loop. Three north bus loops off the Esplanade close.

  4. Building

    A new east side garage

A structure with about 6,000 spaces is under construction on the old Manchester cast lot, with EV charging, its own security, shuttle and ride share areas and traffic off Disney Way.

Ways to pay less

Who pays what.

Day guests

$40 for standard, paid at the booth by card or mobile pay. One fee covers both parks for the day, and you can leave and come back with your receipt.

Magic Key holders

The Inspire Key includes theme park parking. Believe gets 50 percent off standard, and Explore and Imagine get 25 percent off at the Toy Story lot.

Resort hotel guests

Self parking starts at $45 a night and valet at $75, varying by season. From the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian or Pixar Place, walking to the gates beats driving.

Dropped off

Free. The Harbor Blvd drop off is the closest curb to the gates, and ride share drivers use it too.

Downtown Disney parking charges $10 for the first hour and is for shopping and dining only. It is not theme park parking.

Disneyland parking questions.

How much is Disneyland parking in 2026?

Standard parking is $40 a day for a car or motorcycle. Preferred parking is $60, RVs and oversized vehicles pay $45 and buses pay $50. Rates did not change in Disneyland's October 6, 2026 price update.

Where do you park for Disneyland?

Most guests park at the Mickey and Friends or Pixar Pals structures off Disneyland Drive and ride the free tram to the gates. The Toy Story lot on Harbor Blvd is the other theme park lot, with a free shuttle bus. RVs and oversized vehicles must use the Toy Story lot.

What time do Disneyland parking lots open?

The lots open about an hour before the first park opens. On an 8 AM opening day, expect the gates to the structures to open around 7 AM. Cars often line up before that.

Is Disneyland preferred parking worth it?

Preferred costs $20 more than standard and puts you in the spaces closest to the escalators and the tram. It saves a few minutes of walking each way, which matters most with small kids, a stroller or a late night exit.

Does one parking payment cover both parks?

Yes. Parking is per vehicle per day, not per park, so one payment covers a day at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Keep the receipt if you leave and come back the same day.

Can I park at Downtown Disney for the theme parks?

No. Downtown Disney parking is for shopping and dining, and it charges $10 for the first hour with validation after that. It is not a cheaper way to park for the parks.

Do Magic Key holders park free?

Only the Inspire Key includes theme park parking. Believe Key holders get 50 percent off standard parking, and Explore and Imagine Key holders get 25 percent off standard parking at the Toy Story lot.

Is it cheaper to get dropped off?

Yes. A drop off on Harbor Blvd costs nothing and puts you about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the gates, closer than any parking lot. Ride share drivers use the same area.

Rates checked October 30, 2026 and unchanged since Disneyland's October 6, 2026 price update. Visiting Florida instead? See Disney World parking.
