The Toy Story Parking Area is Disneyland's open air lot on Harbor Blvd, south of Katella Ave. It costs the same $40 a day as the garages, and it is the only lot for RVs and oversized vehicles at $45. Free shuttle buses run to the east end of the Esplanade, and most people reach the gates 25 to 35 minutes after parking.

Turn by turn

From Harbor Blvd to the shuttle.

  1. Head for Harbor Blvd south of Katella

Coming north on I-5, exit at Katella Ave and head west to Harbor Blvd. Search Toy Story Parking Area in your map app so it routes you to the lot entrance, not the resort's main address.

  2. Pay at the booth

$40 for a car, $45 for an RV or oversized vehicle. Preferred spaces cost $60.

  3. Note your row

The lot is flat and wide open, and every row looks alike after dark. Snap the row sign or save your spot in the Disneyland app.

  4. Ride the shuttle

Buses load at the shuttle stop inside the lot and run to the east end of the Esplanade.

  5. Clear security and walk in

From the shuttle stop it is a short walk to the gates of Disneyland or California Adventure, which face each other across the Esplanade.
